  Jacques Bermon Webster II, born on April 30, 1991, is better known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. His stage name is a fusion of the name a loved uncle and the initials of Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott was signed to his first major-label deal in 2012 with Epic Records. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April of 2013. The record was released under the Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self released in 2013. In 2013, Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was the first studio album by the artist. The hit single "Antidote" was the main track. The second album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. In the next year, Scott released a collaborative album with Quavo titled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the name group Huncho Jack.In 2018 the third album, Astroworld, was released to acclaim from critics and also produced his debut Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It reached the top of the Billboard 200. The single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott was the first artist to reach number one on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than a year.
