Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress and comedian, as well as activist) is a comedian. After emigrating to America, she was born in Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as an actress in her early years as a child. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 to 2016 - and since 2020 - earned her acclaim. She was a regular host of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). In addition she was a regular series on Yahoo! Vayntrub was initially cast as the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's pilot that was never aired for New Warriors in 2018, has been voiced that role since. Vayntrub is an Jewish person was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. At two years of age, she and her parents moved to the U.S. as refugees to escape antisemitism, settling in West Hollywood. When she was five, she began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was in part due to the economic hardships in her family. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. After her sophomore year, she dropped out and earned a GED. She continued to get a Bachelor of Arts Communication from University of California San Diego. She was a part of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and studied Improv comedy.
